Since the day I became a teacher abroad back in 2013, I have been blessed with the ability to travel economically. The proximity of my locations has afforded me these amazing opportunities and now I am sharing what I have learned with you. Here are some of my favorite things that I will not forget to take with me when I head out to discover the world.
I am providing a link to purchase items on Amazon.
Headphones, not earbuds because earbuds are too easy to lose, especially when you're sleeping on the airplane. https://amzn.to/3Vxk6Vu JBL is the brand I use and really like.
Head Pillow, this one wraps around and stays in place. I wrap it around the handle of my rolling bag for safekeeping and easy access when putting luggage in an overhead compartment. https://amzn.to/3XeolpX
Compression Socks for long haul flights. These socks keep your feet warm and your circulation moving, which is necessary when you are sitting for long periods of time. These Bombas socks are not too tight. I love them because they are comfortable for the entire trip, or even for being at home binging my favorite Netflix shows.

Close to the body pocket or flex bag for keeping things organized and close to me to avoid any pickpockets or losing my paperwork such as passport, tickets, credit cards and money. This bag is big enough to hold a small umbrella. It can also be worn under or over your shirt. I love mine. https://amzn.to/3KxnJEs
Stylish Black Rain Jacket. You'll always need to take a jacket with you when traveling to Europe. This one not only dresses up an outfit, but the soft fabric liner keeps you dry, even in humid climates. This jacket is for cold, wet or hot climates. I take this jacket with me everywhere I go. It is in my car right now, in case of rain.

Universal Power Adapter: Don't leave home without this!
